Weather Source for Trip Planning and Off Roading in Northern Arizona

arizona weather

If you visiting from out of town, or simply are looking for a solid weather source for your excursion planning up here in central and northern Arizona, you may want to check out the US National Weather Service – Flagstaff, AZ. Both their website and Facebook Page are updated daily. And, that’s a great thing, especially during our monsoon season up here. Don’t forget, flash flooding is a big deal in Arizona, and quite common. Don’t get complacent, especially if you’re roaming through canyons and low lying areas. Roving through dry creek beds is not recommended (like the jeep in the dry creek bed in the featured image) during our monsoon seasons here if there are monsoons in the region. A rain storm miles away could flood your dry creek bed without warning. Here’s a great example of this phenomenon that occurred just this week! >>
